Tragic Tharparkar Road Collision Leaves Five Dead

MITHI: At least five passengers were killed on the spot early Tuesday morning when an overspeeding dumper ploughed into a passenger coach on the Mithi-Badin Road in the Tharparkar district of Sindh.
The fatal collision occurred due to the reckless driving of the dumper, which was reportedly moving on the wrong side of the thoroughfare, catching the coach driver completely off guard and leaving no room for evasion.
Rescue services, local police, and volunteers rushed to the accident scene immediately after the crash to retrieve the bodies and assist the victims.
The deceased, whose identities are yet to be officially released pending family notification, were shifted to a nearby medical facility for legal formalities.
Initial reports from the traffic police indicate that gross negligence and blatant disregard for lane discipline by heavy transport vehicles continue to pose severe hazards on regional highways.
