Traffic Diversion Plan for Yadgar-e-Fatah Monument Ceremony

Islamabad: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have issued a traffic diversion plan to ensure smooth traffic flow during the ceremony at the Yadgar-e-Fatah Monument.

According to the traffic plan, the service road from Shifa Hospital towards the Federal Board will remain closed during the event. Faiz Ahmed Faiz Road, from Beaconhouse towards Jafar Khan Jamali Road, will also remain closed to traffic.

Under the diversion plan, traffic coming from Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Road will be diverted towards the Sector I-8 Service Road (East), while traffic from Shifa Signal will be diverted towards Mir Chakar Road.

The ITP has advised citizens to use Mir Chakar Road, Pitras Bukhari Road and Sector I-8 Main Double Road as alternative routes.

Citizens have also been requested to park their vehicles only at designated parking areas to avoid traffic congestion.
