Security Forces Eliminate 11 Terrorists in Balochistan

QUETTA: Security forces have successfully neutralized 11 terrorists during intelligence-based operations conducted in the Panjgur and Chagai districts of Balochistan, military sources confirmed on Saturday.
The decisive crackdown is part of the ongoing nationwide counter-terrorism campaign under the framework of Operation ‘Radd-ul-Fasaad’, aimed at dismantling hostile networks operating within the province.
According to security officials, the operations were launched following credible intelligence regarding the movement of anti-state elements aiming to disrupt peace and target vital infrastructure in the region. During the intense exchanges of fire, elite troops effectively countered the militant hideouts, resulting in the killing of 11 high-value insurgents.
Substantial quantities of heavy weaponry, ammunition, and explosive materials were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
The successful raids underscore the persistent security challenges in Pakistan’s largest and most strategically vital province, which has frequently witnessed insurgent violence aimed at stalling regional development.
Analysts note that these intelligence-led operations are critical in curbing the operational capacity of militant factions attempting to exploit remote terrain along the border regions to launch subversive activities.
Security forces have vowed to maintain relentless pursuit of anti-state elements until complete peace and stability are restored across Balochistan.
Comprehensive clearance operations and combing sweeps are currently underway in the surrounding areas to ensure no remnants of the terrorist network escape into neighbouring districts.
