Bahawalpur: Rainfall pounded Bahawalpur and its surrounding areas overnight from Saturday to Sunday, rendering the weather pleasantly cool.
The intermittent showers commenced during Sehri, the pre-dawn mealtime, and persisted for more than two hours. The downpour brought relief and joy to those observing the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
In the interim, the local Meteorological Office has predicted partly cloudy to cloudy conditions for the city over the next 24 hours.
The temperature ranged from a high of 35 degrees Celsius to a low of 23 degrees Celsius during the preceding day.
Similar partially cloudy to cloudy weather is expected across the region as well.
