PSL Is Over For Qalandars, Not Hard Work: Atif Rana

Islamabad: Despite setbacks, Atif Rana, the CEO of Lahore Qalandars commended the team’s fighting spirit till the last ball and acknowledged the need for improvement in players’ form, especially mentioning Fakhar Zaman’s struggle to find form.
Atif Rana expressed his thoughts on the team’s performance in the PSL, stating that despite the challenges faced, Lahore Qalandars will resume their efforts from tomorrow.
He emphasized that the team is not deterred by defeats and has consistently provided opportunities to young talents.
Rana highlighted the absence of key players and injuries as factors affecting the team’s performance, stating that forming a cohesive combination was difficult under such circumstances. He particularly lamented the unavailability of Rashid Khan, emphasizing his irreplaceable role.
Regarding the pitch conditions, Rana noted the favorable batting conditions but also expressed confidence in Shaheen Afridi’s consistent performance, highlighting his leadership qualities and two-time PSL title victories.
Rana praised Shaheen Afridi’s contribution to the team, noting his exemplary leadership qualities that surpassed those of Azhar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, and McCullum.
He emphasized that regardless of wins or losses, Lahore Qalandars’ reputation and development programs will continue, with doors open for young talents.
