Police Detained Man Spreading False Info In Cantt

Rawalpindi: The Cantt police claimed to have detained a man for spreading false information.
The suspected man, identified as Jabran, called Police Helpline Rescue 15 to report that five unidentified armed thieves had managed to steal his car at gunpoint, according to police sources.
When a team of the Cantt police arrived at the scene, it was revealed that the vehicle was on installments which the owner asked to be refunded for non-payment. After that, the alleged man made a wrong call to the police.
Superintendent of Police (SP)Potohar stated that bogus calls are intolerable and termed them a major crime. He said that strict action will be taken against those who engage in mischievous activities.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has foiled a major human trafficking attempt in the Saddar area of Karachi, rescuing 33 women and arresting four suspects, including a woman.
According to officials, the FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle conducted raids on two hotels located near the Passport Office Saddar, where the women were being held prior to being sent abroad.
During the operation, authorities detained the women along with suspected human traffickers and agents. A total of 29 passports and other relevant documents were recovered from the suspects’ possession.
