PMD Predicts Scattered Rain-Thunderstorm For Sindh

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted scattered rain-thunderstorms with occasional gusty in most parts of Sindh province over the next 24 hours.
PMD stated that scattered rainstorms with sporadic gusty winds are likely in Jamshoro, Dadu, Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, and Tando Muhammad.Khan, Tando Allayar, and Mirpurkhas districts during the next 2 to 3 days, especially in the afternoon or evening; while in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Kambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Nausheroferoze, and Shaheed Benazirabad and Khairpur districts on May 3–5, with gaps.
Isolated rain-thunderstorms may also occur in outskirts of Karachi today evening or night.
Warm and humid weather is likely to prevail in Karachi, with maximum temperatures reaching 33-35 °C and minimum temperatures of 24-26 °C.

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain-wind/thunderstorms, accompanied by isolated heavy falls and hailstorms, in the upper regions of the country from April 16 to 19 due to a westerly weather system.
According to the Met Office, the system will enter northwestern parts on April 16 and persist with intermittent activity over upper regions during the period.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, widespread rain, thunderstorms and snowfall over mountains are expected in areas including Chitral, Swat, Dir, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra and Abbottabad. Southern districts may receive light rain on April 17 and 18.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, rain with snowfall over mountains is likely in Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit and surrounding areas from April 16 to 19.
