PM Thanks Int’l Players, Praises PSL Success, Congratulates United for Victory

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated Islamabad United for winning the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.

He paid tribute to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), security forces, administration, organizers, and fans for the successful conduct of the PSL.

He emphasized that cricket unites the entire nation, and the league showcased great competition and sportsmanship.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the international players for participating, which aided in reviving international cricket in Pakistan.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting cricket and other sports in the country. In the final of PSL Season 9, Islamabad United secured victory by defeating Multan Sultans after an intense match.

Multan Sultans had set a target of 160 runs, but Islamabad United clinched the title by winning with 2 wickets to spare.
