KKP Assembly Speaker Urges PM to Implement Peace Jirga Accord

PESHAWAR: The Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has formally written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, urging the government to take immediate action on the implementation of the 2025 Peace Jirga Accord.

This letter comes in light of ongoing security challenges in the region and aims to foster a collaborative approach to peace and stability.

In his correspondence, the Speaker emphasized the importance of adhering to the joint declaration established during the Peace Jirga, which was convened to address escalating violence and promote dialogue among various stakeholders.
