Riyadh: Houthi forces have carried out attacks targeting four cities in Saudi Arabia, injuring 73 civilians, including women and children, according to the spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition.
Major General Turki al-Maliki said civilian and economic facilities were targeted in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan and Najran.
He described the attacks as a clear violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, accusing the Houthis of seeking to damage the kingdom’s national assets and civilian infrastructure.
Al-Maliki said the continued attacks were undermining efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen and neighboring countries.
He stressed that targeting civilian and economic facilities posed a threat to regional security and stability.
