Hip-Hop Star Lil Jon Converts to Islam in California

Islamabad: American rapper Jonathan H. Smith, better known as Lil Jon, has reportedly converted to Islam.
He confirmed the news through an Instagram post, expressing gratitude to his supporters for their positive messages and unconditional love.
Lil Jon embraced Islam on March 15th by reciting the Kalima in front of hundreds of people at the King Fahd Mosque in California.
A video circulating on social media shows him reciting the Kalima in Arabic and then translating it into English under the guidance of the mosque’s imam.
Lil Jon is renowned for hit songs like “Yeah,” “Turn Down for What,” and “Act a Fool.”
His conversion follows other notable figures like scientist Henry Larson and activist Sean King embracing Islam.
