Golra PS Officer Suspended for Poor Performance

Islamabad: During a surprise visit to Golra police station, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Operations, Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari, took decisive action.

A public relations officer announced that the CPO/DIG Operations had suspended the officer in charge due to poor performance.

During his inspection, DIG (Operations) emphasized the responsibility of ensuring the safety of tourists, whether within Islamabad or Taxila limits, squarely falling on the Islamabad Capital Police. He warned of departmental actions against officers failing to prevent crime, underscoring the need for heightened vigilance.

DIG (Operations) meticulously scrutinized various areas including records, front desk, investigation officers’ rooms, and residential barracks. He stressed a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behavior towards citizens and urged police officials to employ all resources for citizen facilitation.

Furthermore, he emphasized immediate, effective measures to prevent serious crimes within respective duty jurisdictions, reaffirming the commitment to citizen safety and property protection as paramount objectives of Islamabad police.
