Four Family Members Found Shot Dead in Islamabad

Islamabad: The Islamabad police have launched an investigation after four bodies, including two men, one woman, and one child, were recovered within the limits of Noon police station of Islamabad capital territory (ICT).
According to police officials, all victims had been shot in the head. One of the deceased, identified as Habibur Rehman, was a security guard residing in the area with his family.
Authorities have recorded statements from local residents and individuals who alerted the police. Initial findings suggest a targeted killing, though the motive remains unclear. Further investigation is underway.
Five Killed, Three Injured in Land Dispute Clash
At least five people were killed and three others injured in a violent clash between two groups over a land dispute in Bhakkar.
Police said the incident occurred in Basti Chandia, where tensions escalated into an exchange of gunfire. The deceased and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Law enforcement agencies have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the clash and to identify those responsible.
Contractor Dies of Suffocation After Mill Fire
A contractor died of suffocation after a fire broke out in the mixing unit of a mill on Jhang Road in Muzaffargarh on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the fire erupted suddenly, filling the premises with thick smoke. The victim, identified as Muneer Ahmed, succumbed to suffocation before he could be rescued.
Emergency teams responded promptly and launched a search and rescue operation. District Emergency Officer Obaidullah also visited the site. The body was shifted to DHQ Hospital, and police were informed.
Initial investigations have yet to determine whether the fire was caused by a short circuit or a safety lapse. Authorities have launched a detailed inquiry.
