FIA Stops Two Passengers Over Suspected Visa Forgery

Multan: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing in Multan has foiled an attempt by two Pakistani nationals to travel to Liberia using allegedly forged visa documents.

The passengers, identified as Naveed Ali and Asmatullah Khan, were scheduled to travel to Liberia on Flydubai flight FZ-326 and appeared at the immigration counter for clearance.

During a detailed examination of their travel documents and mobile phones, FIA officials detected discrepancies between the original Liberian visa documents stored on their phones and the printed visas presented to immigration authorities.

According to the FIA, the original visa documents listed the purpose of travel as “Business,” while the visa printouts submitted by the passengers stated “Work.” Further verification indicated that the visa category had allegedly been altered.

During questioning, both passengers told officials that they had obtained the visas through a person associated with an agent.

Following the suspected forgery, FIA Immigration Multan offloaded both passengers from the flight and referred them to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle M#ultan for further investigation and legal action against those allegedly involved in arranging the forged documents.

During questioning, both passengers told officials that they had obtained the visas through a person associated with an agent.
