Eid Cheers Before Cricket Storm: Stars Send Love

Islamabad: Pakistan’s top cricketers turned the spirit of Eid into a moment of unity and fan engagement, as both men’s and women’s teams reached out to supporters with warm greetings ahead of a busy cricketing calendar.
In videos released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, leading players from the national setup delivered Eid ul Fitr messages, highlighting gratitude, togetherness, and well-wishes for fans across the country and abroad.
Men’s team stars, including white-ball leaders Shaheen Shah Afridi and Salman Ali Agha, extended greetings on behalf of the squad, urging people to celebrate the occasion with loved ones while staying safe. They were joined by prominent names such as Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, and Faheem Ashraf, along with emerging talents from the national pool.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s women cricketers also shared their festive messages in a separate video, with players like Sidra Amin, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sandhu and Tuba Hassan conveying their wishes to fans nationwide.
The outreach comes at a transitional moment for both squads. The women’s team is currently on a short break before resuming international duties in May with a T20I tri-series in Ireland, part of preparations for the upcoming global tournament.
On the men’s side, attention is firmly set on the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League 11, which kicks off later this month. The expanded tournament will feature eight teams and promises an action-packed schedule through early May, marking another major chapter in Pakistan’s domestic cricket season.
By sharing Eid wishes collectively, Pakistan’s cricketers not only celebrated the religious occasion but also reinforced their connection with fans ahead of a crucial period on the field.
