Dry Weather With Chances Of Wind-Thunderstorm In KP

Peshawar/Bahawalpur: The Provincial Meteorological Centre (PMC) Peshawar and the local Met Office on Friday predicted mainly hot and dry weather over most districts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and dry to partly cloudy weather for Bahawalpur, respectively, over the next 24 hours.

PMC said that cloudy weather conditions with a chance of isolated rain, wind, or thunderstorms are expected to occur over Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan, Shangla, Swat, Buner, Lower and Upper Dir, Chitral, Bannu, North Waziristan, Kurram, and Khyber districts. A dust-raising wind is also expected in some plain areas of the province. During the last 24 hours, mostly cloudy weather prevailed over most districts of the province.

Rain-wind/thunderstorm also occurred over a number of places in the province. Rain recorded at different stations of KIP is as follows:

The highest temperature recorded in the province was 28°Cin Dera Ismail Khan.

Dry to partly cloudy for Bahawalpur

The highest maximum temperature 33°Cand the lowest minimum 24°Cwere recorded during last 24 hours. The dry to partly cloudy weather has also been forecast for rest of the region.
