Dry Conditions Prevail in KP, Upper Districts to Stay Cold

Peshawar: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast dry weather for most districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including Peshawar, with upper districts experiencing colder temperatures.

Light rain, thundershowers, and snowfall are expected in the upper regions, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 12 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level is expected to be around 80 percent.

Over the next 24 hours, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is expected to remain dry in most areas, with upper districts experiencing cold weather.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain are forecasted for Galiyat, Naran, Kaghan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astor, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch, and Haveli.

In the past 24 hours, KP, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan witnessed rain, accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and snowfall in mountainous areas.

Significant rainfall was recorded in various regions, with the highest levels in Balakot, Dir, Patan, and other areas. Additionally, Malam Jabba received 2 inches of snowfall.
