Dengue Declined to Zero in Pindi

Rawalpindi: No dengue patient in any allied hospitals of Rawalpindi district is presently admitted which shows dengue has declined to zero after continued follow up campaigns by the district’s health administration.
The last patient admitted in hospital has also been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery a couple of days ago.
According to a recent report from the district’s Anti-Dengue Department, 29 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals since January 24, all of whom have recovered and been discharged. Currently, no dengue patients are hospitalized in any of the allied hospitals.
Over the past week, the District Health Authority has taken significant actions against dengue SOP violations. A total of 80 FIRs have been registered, 52 challans issued, and 9 locations sealed.
Additionally, fines totaling Rs. 96,500 have been imposed.
Anti-dengue teams have been active in several areas, including Airport Housing Society, Dhok Munshi, Choohr Chowk, Bangash Colony, Dhamman Syedan, Chak Jalal Deen, and surrounding neighborhoods.
They have made substantial progress in their field assignments, completing 80 percent of the grass cutting in the Eidgah cemetery.
An awareness campaign was also conducted in Morgah and Kotha Kalan to educate the public about dengue prevention, anti-dengue measures, and SOPs.
