Dengue Challenge Persists: 208 News Cases Reported in Punjab

Lahore: The Punjab Health Department reported 208 new cases of dengue fever in various parts of Punjab on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 7,082 across 36 districts this year.
Currently, 153 dengue patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals across Punjab, with 78 of them hospitalised in Lahore district.

The situation is still continuing, with Sheikhupura, Kasur and Muzaffargarh each confirming two new dengue cases during the same period. Attock, Gujrat, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanewal and Jhang each reported one case of dengue within 24 hours.
Punjab Health Secretary Ali Jaan Khan issued a compelling plea for citizens to maintain clean and dry surroundings as a preventive measure against dengue fever.
