Balochistan Imposes Section 144 Banning Public Gatherings

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has imposed Section 144 across the entire province for a duration of one month, enforcing a comprehensive ban on public gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, and demonstrations in a bid to maintain public order and security.
According to an official notification issued by the provincial authorities, the restrictions extend beyond mass assemblies to include strict prohibitions on covering faces or wearing face veils in public spaces.
