Bajaur: PTI, Oppositions Vie for NA-8, PK-22 Seats

Bajaur: The polling process for the by-elections for the National Assembly seat NA-8 and Provincial Assembly seat PK-22 commenced on Sunday.
Voters began arriving at their designated polling stations at 8:00 a.m. and are actively casting their votes. The voting will continue until 5:00 pm.
A closely contested race is anticipated between PTI-backed candidates Gul Zafar Khan for NA-8 and Mubarak Zeb Khan for PK-22, who will face off against candidates from opposition parties.
The February 8 election in the constituency was postponed following the tragic passing of PTI-backed candidate Rehan Zeb.
A total of 366 polling stations have been set up for NA-8 in Bajaur, including 88 highly sensitive and 151 sensitive stations, catering to 672,591 registered voters.
Likewise, 91 polling stations have been established for PK-22, including 88 combined polling stations for both male and female voters.
Supporters of the candidates have erected polling booths outside the polling stations to provide guidance to young voters.
