Islamabad: Smartphone brand Infinix has introduced the HOT 70 Pro 5G, a new device aimed at redefining the midrange segment by combining artificial intelligence tools, gaming-focused performance and enhanced durability features.
The latest addition to the HOT Series reflects a growing industry trend where smartphone makers are moving beyond basic AI assistants and integrating artificial intelligence into everyday tasks, including productivity, photography, customization and device management.
Designed for students, content creators and mobile gamers, the HOT 70 Pro 5G features a range of AI-powered tools, including AI FlashMemo, which can identify information on the screen and suggest actions such as saving contacts, creating calendar events or drafting emails.
The phone also introduces AI MindHub, which automatically organizes captured content, while AI Class Timetable allows students to scan printed schedules and convert them into digital calendars with reminders.
A dedicated One-Tap AI Button provides quick access to AI functions, while a long press activates Folax AI, offering access to multiple AI models, including ChatGPT and Google Gemini, without leaving the current application.
A Smartphone Designed to Stand Out
Beyond software upgrades, Infinix has focused on creating a more interactive design experience. The HOT 70 Pro 5G features the Active Matrix Cube, an LED-based system built into the rear camera module that displays notifications, lighting effects, animations and mini-games.
The device also comes in unique finishes, including Thermo Orange, which changes shades with temperature variations, and Mirage Green, a light-reactive leather finish that reveals a starry texture in darker surroundings.
Other design options include Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Dive Blue and Night Pulse.
Gaming and Performance Upgrades
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and features a 6.76-inch FHD+ LTPS display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, offering smoother visuals for gaming and daily use.
The device supports up to 8GB RAM with extended RAM expansion and storage options of up to 256GB.
For gamers and heavy users, the phone comes with a large battery capacity of up to 6,000mAh and supports 45W fast charging. Features such as bypass charging and thermal management aim to improve performance during extended gaming sessions.
AI-Enhanced Photography
Photography capabilities include a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with 2x lossless zoom. Infinix has added AI-based editing features such as AI Eraser, AI Extender and AI Live Photo Mode, along with upgraded vlog tools for content creators.
Durability Moves Into the Midrange Segment
One of the major highlights of the HOT 70 Pro 5G is its rugged build. The device carries MIL-STD-810 certification and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, features traditionally associated with premium smartphones.
Additional features include Pure Voice for clearer calls, UltraLink Bluetooth communication, motion sickness reduction technology and XGuard privacy protection.
