Islamabad: Following the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9, Babar Azam, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah, among other cricketers, undertook the pilgrimage of Umrah.
National cricketer Iftikhar Ahmed shared a photo on Instagram featuring himself and his fellow players donning Ihram attire, symbolizing their sacred journey.
Babar, Naseem, Imam-ul-Haq, and Iftikhar embarked on the Umrah pilgrimage together. Imam-ul-Haq and Babar traveled in each other’s company, while Naseem Shah undertook the journey with his father.
In another post, Babar Azam shared a photo of himself wearing Ihram, expressing his joy after performing Umrah.
In the caption, he expressed gratitude for the experience and offered prayers for the well-being and peace of humanity.
Babar in his instagram posts says “Feeling blessed and spiritually uplifted after performing Umrah. A moment of reflection and peace. Grateful for this journey and praying for the well-being and peace of the entire humanity.”
