Nawabshah, Suburbs Hit by Extremely Hot Weather

News Desk

Hyderabad: Nawabshah and its suburbs faced extreme heat as temperatures soared to 45 degrees Celsius on Monday.

The hot winds persisted throughout the day, compelling residents to stay indoors, leaving the city’s roads and streets deserted. However, this temperature did not surpass the 1992 record of 47 degrees on the same date.

Additionally, ongoing load shedding exacerbated the situation for those affected by the heat, as ice manufacturers struggled to supply frozen ice canes to sale points.

In response to the intense heat, doctors advised avoiding exposure to the open sun, covering the head and face when outdoors, and increasing water intake.
