Islamabad: British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has announced promising trial results for its lung cancer drug, Imfinzi.

According to Reuters, the company reported that the drug showed encouraging outcomes in a limited patient sample.

In the trial, one group received Imfinzi while the other received a synthetic drug, and both were monitored for disease progression.
