Islamabad: Jason Roy made a notable contribution with 75 runs, and Saud Shakeel closely followed with a score of 74, while Salman Irshad showcased a strong performance by securing three wickets for Peshawar Zalmi.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Zeeshan and Luke Wood each claimed one wicket.
In the pursuit of their target, Peshawar Zalmi’s captain, Babar Azam, led the charge with an impressive score of 68 runs, while Saeem Ayub played a valuable innings with 42 runs.
However, following the solid performance of the Zalmi openers, the remaining players struggled to make a significant impact.Tom Koehler Cadmore managed 18 runs, Romain Powell scored 17, and Don Mosley contributed 11 runs. Asif Ali secured 2 wickets, and Amir Jamal remained unbeaten with 7 runs.
