Galyat Blanketed in Snow, Tourists Spellbound

Nathiagali: Tourists from various parts of the country are thrilled as heavy snowfall continues for the second consecutive day in Galyat and Thandyani, creating a picturesque scene across the entire region.

Following a two-month delay, the inaugural snowfall has finally arrived, drawing tourists to Galyat. On the first day, the area received a snowfall of up to 5 inches, followed by an additional three inches on the second day.

According to the Meteorology Department, the snowfall and rain are expected to persist until Sunday.

The snow-clad landscapes of Galyat have captivated the interest of tourists, prompting a significant influx to witness the ongoing snowfall and experience the tranquil beauty of the region.

Ahsan Hameed, spokesperson for the Galyat Development Authority (GDA), mentioned that their team, equipped with heavy machinery and trained personnel, is diligently working to clear roads, extend hospitality to tourists, and remain vigilant to address any emergency situations.
