Dry Weather Expected In Country’s Plain Areas: Met

Islamabad/Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country while cold in upper parts. Meanwhile, mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the Sindh province.
According to the Met Office, fog or smog is likely to occur in Mangla, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Sargodha, M Bahuddin, Joharabad, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and surrounding areas during morning hours.
PMD states that warm and humid weather is expected in Karachi over the next 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Karachi were 38°C and 24.4°Cduring the last 24 hours.
