Rain-thundershower Expected In Southeast Sindh: Met

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) projects rainfall in eastern Sindh districts as moderate monsoon currents are likely to penetrate the area this evening.
Under its influence, dust storms and rain are likely to occur in Tharparker, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Khairpur, Badin, Sujawal, Thatta, and Jamshoro Districts during September 16-18.
Met Office states that partly cloudy weather is expected in Karachi over the next 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Karachi were 34°C and 26°C, respectively, during the last 24 hours.
According to PMD, rain, wind and thundershowers are expected in upper Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the Potohar region and Kashmir during the evening and night. Hot and humid weather is likely elsewhere.
