YIC, NEP-NICs Join Hands To Promote Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Swat: The Youth International Conclave (YIC) and the National Expansion Plan of National Incubation Center (NEP-NICs) have agreed to promote startups and encourage the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Swat.
In this regard, the YIC and NEP-NICs signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday. The purpose of the agreement is to promote the entrepreneurship and startups culture in Swat.
YIC President Engr Umar Farooq Gul and NEP-NICs Community Manager Swat Mazharul Islam signed the MoU.
Under the MoU, the YIC and NEP-NICs will collaborate to provide a range of services and opportunities to the youth of Swat. This will include access to training programs, mentorship and coaching, as well as networking opportunities with other entrepreneurs and investors.
The NEP-NICs initiative is aimed at encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the local communities of Pakistan.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Information Technology (MoITT) and the executing body is Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
13 technology incubation centers have been established in all provinces of Pakistan in collaboration with selected public sector universities
Engr. Umar Farooq Gul said, “We are delighted to partner with the NEP-NICs Swat to promote entrepreneurship and startups in Swat. We believe that by working together, we can create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that will help Swat’s youth to thrive.”
Mazharul Islam stated, “Through this collaboration, we hope to provide young people with the skills and resources they need to start and grow their own businesses.”
The accord represents a significant step towards promoting entrepreneurship and startups in Swat. With the support of these two organizations, the youth of Swat will have the opportunity to build successful and sustainable businesses that will contribute to the economic growth and development of the region.
