Wild Boars Herd Attacked School Children In Peshawar

Peshawar: A wild boar herd attacked school-going children in village council 46, Shalobar, Bara tehsil of Khyber district, resulting in one child being badly injured and taken to the hospital.

According to the Shalobar Welfare Committee Head, the wild bores entered their area from the adjacent Hayatabad locality.In retaliation, the area people shot eight wild boars deadon Tuesday.

A couple of days ago, a leopard was also spotted in the area, official stated, adding that these wild animals are posing a threat to the lives of people living here.

He appealed to the wildlife authorities to take steps to block the entry of wild animals into the human population to avert the occurrence of mishaps.
