Islamabad: BTS ARMY delivered an unforgettable surprise during the opening night of the group’s ARIRANG World Tour at MetLife Stadium, leaving the members visibly touched by a heartfelt fan tribute.

As thousands of fans simultaneously raised pastel-colored flower banners, the venue transformed into a vibrant “field of flowers” in celebration of BTS’s long-awaited reunion following the members’ military service.

Leader RM paused the concert to read the Korean message printed on the banners: “The moment we waited so long for, our Spring Day!” The phrase paid tribute to BTS’s return as a full group after years without a complete world tour.

The emotional gesture appeared to catch the members by surprise. J-Hope smiled warmly and responded, “Soooo sweet!” while fans also noticed him seemingly wiping away tears, prompting cheers and emotional reactions throughout the stadium.

The large-scale banner project was organised by BTS fan Ashley, known online as @actuallynoh, who launched a crowdfunding campaign to create and distribute 41,000 flower-shaped banners in purple, pink, yellow, and blue.

After the concert, Ashley reflected on the moment on social media, saying she never imagined RM would read words she had written “from my very own heart.” She also thanked everyone who contributed to making the fan project possible, adding that the experience would take “several MANY days” to fully process.

The coordinated tribute quickly gained attention online, with many fans describing it as a fitting symbol of a new chapter for both BTS and ARMY after years of waiting.
