Islamabad: Pop sensation Taylor Swift recently opened up about the surprising question she asked NFL star Travis Kelce on their very first date and it had nothing to do with romance.

During her appearance on the New Heights podcast, hosted by Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, Swift recalled a moment from that night when she asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end what it was like to play against his brother, a former Philadelphia Eagles center.

“He didn’t even look at me,” the Grammy winner laughed, admitting, “I now realize how ridiculous that question was.”

Kelce then explained the basic rules of the game, telling her, “Actually, I’m on offense and my brother’s on offense too. We’re only on the field at the same time when I’m watching the defense.” Swift admitted she initially thought everyone played at once.

Since then, the Anti-Hero singer has taken a genuine interest in the sport and is now “obsessed” with football — something Kelce says he’s “forever thankful” for.

For those unfamiliar, the Kelce brothers famously went head-to-head during the 2023 Super Bowl, where Travis’ Chiefs narrowly defeated Jason’s Eagles 38–35.

On the relationship front, Kelce and Swift recently went public on Instagram after nearly two years of dating and are reportedly considering moving in together in Cleveland.
