Voters Must Enrol, Verify Electoral Lists: ECP

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has called upon all eligible citizens to enroll and rectify errors in the electoral lists for accuracy, aligning them with their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC) data by October 25, 2023.

It is to mention that the ECP has lifted restrictions on voter lists countrywide, allowing eligible individuals to register, transfer or rectify their votes until October 25. Following the unfreezing of electoral lists, eligible individuals now have the opportunity to update their voter information.

The ECP suspended the electoral rolls on July 20, 2023, by invoking clause 39 of the Election Act 2017.
