Two Killed as Car Hits Motorbike on Shahrah-e-Faisal

Islamabad: At least two people were killed on the spot when a car struck a motorbike on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi on Tuesday.

According to rescue officials, the car collided with the motorbike, killing both riders instantly, leaving no time for medical assistance. A private news channel reported the incident.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the victims, while authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

Two Killed, 10 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on M1 Motorway

A multi-vehicle collision near the Anbar Interchange on the M1 Motorway in Swabi on Tuesday left two people dead and 10 others injured.

Rescue sources said the accident involved a trailer and five cars. The two victims died on the spot, while 10 injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

Hospital officials said that five of the injured are in critical condition. Police and rescue teams reached the scene promptly and initiated an investigation into the incident.

Seven Killed, Several Injured in Chaghi Road Accident

At least seven people, including women and children, were killed and four others injured in a deadly road accident in Chaghi, Balochistan, in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to rescue authorities, the accident occurred near the Yak Mach area on the Pak-Iran RCD Road. Several victims sustained critical injuries.

Police and rescue teams shifted the deceased and injured to a local hospital. Authorities have launched an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the accident.

Two Workers Killed in Turbine Steam Pipeline Explosion

Two workers lost their lives and two others were critically injured when a steam pipeline of a turbine exploded at the power house of Shakarganj Sugar Mill in Jhang on Tuesday, a private TV channel reported.

The sugar mill is located on Toba Road in Jhang. The in-charge of the power house confirmed the blast in the turbine and steam lines.

The deceased were identified as Akmal (40) and Habibur Rehman (30), residents of Jhang City and Faisalabad. Doctors said both died after sustaining severe burns over 90 percent of their bodies.

Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and shifted the dead and injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Jhang.

Two Labourers Killed in Fire at Sugar Mill in Kot Addu

Two labourers were killed and another critically injured after a fire broke out at a private sugar mill in Kot Addu on Tuesday, according to a private news channel.

The mill is located in the Sanawan area. Officials said the fire erupted due to a short circuit, trapping workers inside the factory.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the site immediately, controlled the fire, and shifted the injured worker to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Police registered a case against the mill’s management at Sanawan Police Station for negligence and failure to ensure worker safety. The FIR stated that poor electrical wiring and the absence of firefighting equipment led to the incident.

Authorities said investigations are ongoing and action will be taken against those found responsible. Locals expressed concern over unsafe working conditions and lack of safety measures at the factory.
