Three Terrorists Killed Attempting to Infiltrate Pak-Afghan Border

Islamabad: Security forces successfully neutralized three terrorists attempting to infiltrate the Pak-Afghan border in Dir District during an intense exchange of fire on the night of July 21-22.
According to a news release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists’ movement was detected by security forces.
They were surrounded and engaged in a fierce firefight, resulting in the deaths of all three infiltrators.
The ISPR emphasized Pakistan’s ongoing demand for the Interim Afghan Government to ensure effective border management to prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari commended the swift action of Pakistani security forces in thwarting the recent infiltration attempt along the Pak-Afghan border in Dir District.
In a statement from the President’s House, President Zardari lauded the effectiveness of the response and reaffirmed the nation’s support for its security forces in maintaining national defense, peace, and security.
