Terrorists Launch Coordinated Attacks on Bannu PS

Bannu: Terrorists launched coordinated attacks on two police stations and a police post in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district late Friday night, triggering intense exchanges of fire between the assailants and security personnel, officials confirmed.
According to police sources, unidentified assailants riding motorcycles hurled two hand grenades at the Khojri police post. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the attack.
Following the assault, local residents armed themselves to support the police, declaring that community elders would play an active role in protecting the post from further threats.
Simultaneously, militants also attacked the Bakakhel and Ghoriwala police stations, engaging in gunfire with security forces. The coordinated strikes across three different locations caused widespread panic in the region.
In response, security forces launched a search operation to track down the attackers, while law enforcement agencies have intensified security measures to prevent further incidents.
Local residents have pledged full cooperation with the police in countering terrorist activities, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the area.
