Teen Dies, Five Injured in Separate Accidents in Punjab

Khanewal: Gujrat: A teenage boy lost his life, and five others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Khanewal and Gujrat on Monday.
In the first incident, a speeding car traveling from Kasur to Bahawalpur collided with a motorcycle near Chak No. 167 in Khanewal. As a result, 14-year-old Zohaib died on the spot, while 8-year-old Arisha and 30-year-old Haider Ali suffered injuries. Rescue teams provided immediate medical assistance and shifted them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
In another accident on the Gujrat Highway, a passenger bus traveling from Rawalpindi to Lahore overturned near Dewna Mandi Stop. Rescue officials reported that the accident occurred when another vehicle forced the bus off the road, causing the driver to lose control.
Three passengers Muhammad Numan (35) from Gujranwala, Muhammad Kashif (48) from Lahore, and Muhammad Arif (45) from Khanewal sustained injuries. Two of the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, while one received first aid at the scene.
Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such tragic incidents.
