Summer Vacations in Punjab Schools Extended

Lahore: The Punjab School Education Department (PSED) has announced an extension of summer vacations in all public and private schools across the province until August 31, citing the ongoing heatwave.

According to senior officials of the PSED, schools will now reopen on September 1. The decision was made in view of the prevailing weather conditions.

Earlier, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat had stated that consultations were underway regarding the extension of summer vacations, and a formal decision would be announced soon.
