Sukkur Airport Police Seize Harmful Cooking Oil

Sukkur: Sukkur Airport Police have successfully intercepted a large quantity of potentially hazardous cooking oil being transported from Khairpur to Sukkur. The oil, intended for supply to various hotels and food establishments, may pose a significant risk to human health.

The Police stopped a suspicious transport vehicle and conducted preliminary investigations with individuals present at the scene. Samples of the seized oil will be sent to a laboratory for quality assessment.

According to Airport SHO Imdad Ali Shar on Wednesday, the operation aims to safeguard the public from substandard and harmful food products. An extensive probe is underway to identify those involved and dismantle the oil supply chain.

The seized oil has been taken into custody, and legal proceedings have begun.

Further action is expected based on the investigation’s findings.
