Student Caught Cheating in Rawalpindi Matric Exam

Rawalpindi: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi foiled a cheating attempt during the ongoing Matric Second Annual Examinations 2025.

Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan and Controller Tanveer Asghar Awan visited various examination centers on Monday, where a student at the Government High School, DAV College Road, was caught red-handed while cheating. The student was taken into custody on the spot and an FIR was registered.

Chairman Khan said the examinations were being conducted under a zero-tolerance policy in line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, ensuring strict measures for transparency with the support of dedicated staff.

Controller Awan reiterated that the board is committed to a merit-based system, enabling students to succeed through hard work. He added that a crackdown on the “cheating mafia” is underway and no violations would be tolerated.
