South Africa Team Arrives in Lahore for Two-Match Test Series

Lahore: The South Africa cricket team arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday to play a two-match Test series, marking another milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to host regular international cricket.

The visiting squad landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport via a private airline and was escorted under tight security to a local hotel in Lahore. Law enforcement agencies ensured stringent arrangements throughout the team’s arrival and transfer.

Test Series Schedule

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the opening Test will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from October 12 to 16, followed by the second Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24.

The series is expected to draw strong spectator interest, with online ticket sales already underway. The PCB has also announced free entry for fans at both venues to encourage maximum participation and celebrate the return of top-tier cricket action.
