Sindh Education Dept Bans Ajrak, Topi & Gifts at Official Events

Islamabad: The Sindh Education Department has announced a strict ban on presenting Ajrak, Sindhi topi, or any type of gift during official government ceremonies, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.

In a notification issued from Karachi, the department also banned the tradition of students welcoming guests at public events.

The official directive instructs all officers to ensure strict adherence to these new regulations.

This move is intended to promote uniformity and eliminate unnecessary formalities at public sector functions.

The notification has been sent to all relevant authorities, emphasizing that these practices must be stopped immediately in government schools and official venues.
