Washington: Claims of election fraud have shifted from right-wing supporters to left-wing groups after Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election, fueling misinformation across political lines.

While Democratic leaders have accepted the results, social media platforms have seen a surge in unfounded conspiracy theories, including claims that Vice President Kamala Harris was cheated.

Researchers warn that misinformation has become increasingly weaponized on platforms like X and Threads, exploiting both sides of the political spectrum. Dan Brahmy of Cyabra highlighted the role of coordinated bot networks in amplifying falsehoods, underscoring the bipartisan nature of information warfare.
