Shehbaz to Assume PM Role, Zardari as Presidential Nominee

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has announced that Shehbaz Sharif is set to take on the position of Prime Minister, with Asif Ali Zardari being their shared nominee for the Presidency.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also announced that they have garnered ample support for government formation.

In a joint press conference held at Zardari House in Islamabad, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari, declared their intention to form the government after the 2024 elections.

Bilawalstated that the PPP and PML-N have collectively gathered enough support to form the government. He mentioned that Shehbaz Sharif is their mutual candidate for the Prime Ministership, indicating a collaborative effort between the two parties.
