Shallow 3.3 earthquake jolts Chaman, Quetta

Islamabad: A shallow earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale jolted Chaman, Quetta and surrounding areas early Monday.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) confirmed the tremor, which was recorded in the affected region, according to a private news channel.

Authorities said they are closely monitoring the situation and no reports of damage or casualties had been received from the affected areas so far.
