Islamabad: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has notified a comprehensive set of new regulations following their approval by the NADRA Authority Board in accordance with the relevant Rules and the NADRA Ordinance.
These regulations have been published in the Gazette of Pakistan. According to the Gazette notifications, the new Verification Regulations introduce a structured process for examining doubtful identity records and establish Verification Boards responsible for inquiries, hearings and final decisions.
These measures are designed to strengthen the security and accuracy of the national identity system.
