Security Tightened at Punjab–KP–Balochistan Tri-Junction

DG Khan: Security has been significantly ramped up across the border regions linking Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan, Muhammad Usman Khalid.
The Border Military Police (BMP), led by Commandant Amir Taimoor Khan, has intensified surveillance and deployed additional personnel to ensure robust security in these sensitive zones.
Commandant Amir Taimoor Khan undertook an extensive visit to key points across the Koh-e-Sulaiman range, inspecting major entry and exit routes at the tri-junction. He reviewed security checks, personnel deployment, and overall operational readiness.

He instructed officers to tighten inspections of all individuals and vehicles moving in and out of the border areas and stressed the need for heightened vigilance at sensitive locations. He said security measures along the provincial borders had been reinforced, with high-alert deployment maintained along major access routes in Koh-e-Sulaiman.
During the visit, the Commandant also visited the shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar, where he was received by custodians and presented with a traditional Balochi turban and shawl.

He later inspected security arrangements at Mazar Chahar Yaar and adjoining areas.
The strengthened BMP measures aim to bolster surveillance across provincial boundaries, enhance public safety, and stabilize the overall law and order situation in the region.
