Saudia Extends Vaccination Deadline for Travelers by One Month
News Desk
KARACHI: Travelers heading to Saudi Arabia for Umrah will benefit from a one-month extension on the mandatory vaccination deadline. The new enforcement date for vaccination verification at Karachi Airport is set for November 20 at 10 AM.
The decision was announced on October 22, 2026, allowing pilgrims and other travelers to complete their vaccination requirements without the immediate pressure of the previous deadline. Authorities emphasized the importance of vaccination in ensuring the safety of travelers amid ongoing health concerns.
This extension is expected to ease the travel process for many individuals planning to perform Umrah, particularly as the pilgrimage season approaches. It reflects the Saudi government’s commitment to balancing health safety with the needs of pilgrims, who have faced various challenges due to the pandemic.
Travelers are advised to stay updated on any further changes and ensure they meet the new deadline. The Ministry of Religious Affairs is expected to release additional guidelines and support for those preparing for their journey to Saudi Arabia.
