Ryiadh:  The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that all visa holders in the Kingdom are now permitted to perform Umrah, marking a significant step toward expanding religious tourism under Vision 2030.

According to Saudi authorities, the decision aims to facilitate “the guests of Allah Almighty” and make pilgrimage easier for Muslims visiting the Kingdom on various types of visas.

Officials said the decision reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusivity and enhance services for pilgrims as part of its Vision 2030 reforms, which aim to diversify the economy and boost tourism.

Use Nusuk Umrah Platform for Permits

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah urged all applicants to use the Nusuk Umrah online platform to select packages and obtain permits. The platform has recently been upgraded to simplify procedures and ensure smooth coordination for pilgrims.

“Providing all possible facilities to pilgrims is at the top of our Vision 2030 goals,” the ministry said in its statement.

Allowing Umrah for all visa holders is seen as a major step toward welcoming millions of Muslims to perform the pilgrimage more conveniently during their stay in the Kingdom.
